Another Happy Customer

lamerdisc2
Carol bought a machine quilting frame a few years ago, NOT one of ours.  But the frame didn't perform as she expected it would and the seller did not offer any after sales service. Understandably, Carol was really frustrated!

Carol heard about our 'La Mer' DVD. We designed the DVD to be helpful to ANY quilter using ANY sewing machine on ANY frame. Carol did find it helpful, but she was still struggling to get a nice line of stitching on her frame.  Just before Christmas she decided to get a set of Nifty Grips to help guide her sewing machine but realized that the installation was going to be difficult. As we were trying to figure out what to do, Carol's husband stepped in and said, "Just order the 6 foot New English Quilter frame." So she did!

Carol's New English Quilter frame, purpose built table and Nifty Grip speed control handles arrived yesterday. Carol set it up today and here's what happened:

"Hi Martha, And we are off!!  I have just completed my first line of quilting and followed your manual instructions to the letter.  As you say in the manual practise is the key but I am so pleased with efforts so far and the simplicity of setting up.  The goody bag is just lush – I love the thread colours am sure I shall be ordering some in the future.  The manual is brilliant and is almost as if you are speaking directly to me very easy to follow and reassuring with the little summaries of steps along the way.  I just had to take a break and let you know my progress so far.  I am delighted.
Very best wishes and thanks,Carol."
Carol is up and running with her New English Quilter frame
We love our customers, even AFTER they pay us.    We offer lots of customer support before, during and especially after our sales. We are delighted that after years of frustration,  Carol is up and running with her New English Quilter frame. And if she does run into any problems we are always happy to help.

Considering?

Dreaming about buying a machine quilting frame? Our Line Dancing DVDs are a great way to see the New English Quilter frames in action. The DVDs feature JUKI sewing machines on New English Quilter frames using Superior Threads. The Line Dancing DVDs showcase just what happens when you put them all together. It's a bit like having a demo in the comfort of  your home. Then if you're interested in finding our more you can ring for a chat or book a demonstration.

We save all our machine quilting practice pieces, cut out the fun bits and use them for machine quilting samples. We give the samples away at shows and slip one inside each DVD just before we post it. Quilters are such tactile people we think that you will appreciate holding in your hand a piece of the action.

The DVDs are easy to purchase via PayPal. We ship our DVDs and frames all over the world! This one's heading off to Catherine in Georgia, USA. We hope she likes the sample of Emily's stitching.

The Post Office

One of the best parts of my day, is finding out where I'm going to post the next DVD to. La Mer is going to so many exciting places; all over America, Australia, New Zealand, France, Italy, Greece, Israel, the Netherlands, Germany, Ireland and Iceland, not to mention England, Scotland and Wales. So far this week, my favourite places are Hawaii and Maryland. Hawaii because I've wanted to go there ever since our 5th grade class project and Maryland because that's my home state.

As much as I am interested in where the DVD's are going to, I thought that perhaps it might be fun for you all to see where the DVD's are posted from. So here it is, our village post office, which is just a tiny add on to the tiny village shop which is an add on to our village pub. No matter where they end up, here's where they get posted from; the Martin Village Post Office.

California Girl

Being an 'east coast girl' I'd never been to California until last spring, when I had a 6 hour layover in the LA airport on my way to a Superior Threads Seminar in St George, Utah. I was so happy to finally make it to the west coast. When I left England it was snowing, but California was warm and sunny,  full of palm trees and friendly people.

Feedback from the La Mer DVD has just started arriving. The first email came from Pam in, you guessed it, California. Here's what Pam had to say:

I received my dvd yesterday.... and I love my La Mer.... I shall be doing beautiful work I know it..... I have felt that maybe my domestic sewing machine and frame are like maybe 2nd to a long arm machine... but now I can make my quilting sing with the beautiful techniques you have shown me..... thank you so much.

UK Posting

The La Mer DVD pre-orders should be arriving today in England, Scotland and Wales. I've had confirmation from Argyll in Scotland and the Isle of Wight. I'm hoping that all is well in between! We'd love to hear your feedback in comments on the post or emails. We are already working on the next DVD in the Line Dancing Series.Let us know if there is something particular you would like to see covered.

International orders continue to wait for the skies to clear. If the problem persists beyond this week, we'll get the La Mer DVD duplicated by an American company for State-side distribution.Sorry for the delay!

DVD Progress

I'm happy today. The sun was shining. The daffodils were blooming and the DVD editing is finished! There are still some graphics to put together for the DVD case but all the hard stuff is completed! If the DVD was a quilt, I would have just completed the third corner of the binding. Not far to go now.

I wish everyone a joyful Easter!
